Pet Policy: Big Bear lake cabins for rent Pets are allowed in designated Pet Friendly cottages ONLY.
The following rules are mandatory for a pet's stay:
1. The pet(s) is to be on leash at all times when outside cottage.
2. The pet(s) will be in a crate or a carrier if left unattended in cottage.
3. Golden Bear Cottages housekeepers will not enter a cottage to do 'Maid
Service' if pet(s) are not in a crate or a carrier.
4. Clean up of pet grounds after pet is always required. No pets in pool area.
5. You are responsible for damages and/or extra cleaning caused by your pet.
6. A $100 cash deposit may be required, or we may charge your card for damages.
7. Each pet fee is $10 per day. NO EXCEPTIONS
8. The pet(s) are not allowed on furniture. We have pet quilts and crates you may
check out in the office for a nominal rental fee as available if you forget yours.

'Consumers unfamiliar with the concept of a vacation club rental may confuse it with the seemingly similar, but distinctly different, timeshare. Most travelers look for bargains to go to far-away exotic
places around the world. If they really do travel to those
far away exotic places, they realize that the local residents
in those "exotic places" are eager to travel to far away
places too. Sometimes, that far-way place is in your
backyard.
What is exotic to one traveler may be common place to
another. It is all in our attitude, or in the case of the
Southern California mountains, our altitude. As families get
larger and our expenses expand to huge proportions, many
people decide that they just cannot afford any far away
exotic vacations! Today, with airfare 30 to 40% higher,
families are staying close to home.

Oh well, I thought, if there are people from far away places
willing to travel to these mountain vacations in my backyard,

full kitchen with all the amenities we needed, so we did not
have to eat out every day. That saved us over $100 per day.
Our cabin also had a BBQ and outdoor private patio area where
we had a daily cookout. This mountain resort had lots of free
outdoor activities as well as a heated pool and spa and free
family movies at the pool each night. The friendly people at
